News From SSFNC's Classrooms

Bunny Classroom (Toddlers)

The Bunny class is working on colors!  They are exploring mixing colors using paints and playdough, sorting by color, and working together on a collaborative art piece.

Bear Classroom (Preschoolers)

The Bear class is focusing on color mixing, letter writing, and continuing to build relationships with peers. Children are learning how to mix colors to make new colors and exploring painting with their fingers and hands. They also are learning about writing letters and practicing making their own envelope.  They are also working on how to resolve conflicts and play with friends.

Bobcat Classroom (Pre-K)

The Bobcat class is focusing on communities and places within a community by learning about buildings. They are learning about how buildings are made and different types of buildings. They also are practicing emotional and physical regulation and how to calm down when very excited or frustrated. Teachers are modeling different breathing exercises and incorporating yoga into their large group time.
